In this episode of The Health and Wellness Coach Journal Podcast, Dr. Jessica Singh has the privilege of speaking with Dr. Shilpa Sharma. Dr. Sharma is a double board-certified physician, Harvard-trained acupuncturist, the medical director of the Orthopaedic Integrative Health Center at Rothman Orthopaedics, and an award-winning clinical assistant professor at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. She specializes in non-surgical pain care and building customized healthy aging programs for patients. Beyond her impressive credentials, she's a genuine healer with a passion for helping individuals find relief from pain and embrace holistic well-being. 

Dr. Sharma's journey into holistic pain management is deeply rooted in her background in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Through her work, she aims to empower individuals to function better in their daily lives, irrespective of their health challenges. Her approach blends Western and Eastern medicine, acknowledging the interconnectedness of physical, mental, and emotional health.

The 5R Relief Method

Join Us For The Pain Solution Reading Challenge

The Center for Health and Wellness Coaches invites coaches, health care providers, and health and wellness professionals, to participate in a 7-week summer reading challenge featuring Dr. Sharma's book: The Pain Solution: 5 Steps to Relieve and Prevent Back Pain, Muscle Pain, and Joint Pain Without Medication. Each week, participants will receive emails from Dr Singh guiding them through the challenge. Participants will also be able to attend two live discussions with the author and connect with each other in a private Facebook group.

Dates: July 8-August 25, 2024

This course is approved for 2 continuing education (CE) credits by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC). This course is spending eligibility for CE credits through the International Coaching Federation.
